Patches Game is a rectangle logic puzzle inspired by LinkedIn Patches. Every board is a grid with a handful of clue cells, and your job is to partition the whole grid into rectangular patches — each patch contains exactly one clue and matches whatever the clue specifies.
A clue can tell you four things, in any combination. It can show a shape icon (square, wide, or tall); it can show a number (the exact cell count); it can show both; or it can be a Freeform clue (dashed icon) that lets you pick any rectangle. The only hard rule is that every cell in the grid has to belong to exactly one patch, and every patch has to contain exactly one clue.
A new daily Patches Game puzzle lands every day at 00:00 UTC. The last 90 days live in the archive so you can come back for yesterday's board.
